I’m a huge fan of the Fashion world, so I have decided to write this article to give you an idea on what this years Summer Trends would be like, including colors and make up.
As you guys have noticed, floral patterns have been stacking the shops, along with flowy neutral colors, such as beige and navy blue, there was a lot of red and of course there were tons of lace styles. This summer, you’ll find yourself wrapped in vivid colours as well as pastels and soft neutrals.
The big color trend for 2012 spring/summer is mint green, its the biggest color trend for the up coming season. The racks will be full of fashions that all done up in a soft whimsical version of mint green. Another color trend being you will see this spring, especially in handbags and shoes is neon’s. Such as bright blues, yellows, greens, oranges, and hot pinks.
Creamy neutrals, all done up to give you a very feminine look. Flowing pajama – styles, tunics. All meant to be classical, and again comfortable.
Think whimsical pattrens. From bird prints to deers, fruit, feathers, you name it, tops with whimsical prints are big. You will see everything from blouses to dresses all sporting Whimsical prints.
Stripes – Stripes seem to hold a place in fashion year after year. You can’t go wrong wearing stripes, from head to toe…
High-Waisted flare pants are so big this spring, I suggest you pair this style of pants with a great heel, just to give the old look a bit of flare. The new flare pant as a rule have loops for a skinny belt, so you can flash up the look with a flashy thin belt.
Designers this spring and summer are utilizing heavenly fabrics, light as a cloud and putting out some wonderful heaven inspired designs.
Shorts that are opening up this summer are Boyish styled long shorts – paired with feminine tops. Add a great flip flops or heels and you’re good to go 😉
I’ve read that the trend for designer handbags in 2012 seems to be “the bigger, the better”. ‘Bold wonderful color is the trend this season. This spring will bring on the stronger and brighter colors. Bright red is strongly in evidence, as is purple, which has been a favorite color for several seasons now. Cobalt blue emerges to challenge purple. first place though and plenty of other shades of blue were in evidence. Candy bubblegum colors were also tempting us – pinks and oranges as well as lime greens.’ Prada’s Lace bag has been a hit in the US this season, it looks so beautiful!
Gladiator sandals will be bigger this spring/summer than they were in the summer of 2008! Try getting them this year with Bold colors! Match them with a nice flowy skirt, nice top, large bag and you’re good to go!
Ballerinas are still in trend, but in nice colors like strawberry red, mint green, yellow, orange… these nice colors that’ll make your eyes pop!
MAKE UP :-
‘The makeup trends for the summer of 2012 is a bit on the dramatic side… Lips are berry stained or sheer glossy orange, either look is sexy and sizzling! Foundation is slightly more matt, saving the cheek area for a bit rosy hues. Eyes are where the drama sets in, yes the trend of the heavier lined eye is sticking around for summer. The shadows that are on trend for this summer are hot, and from sensuous teal to golden metallic, and creamy neutral shades, and smoky grays… All the attention is on the eyes this summer. The cheeks are being played up big time, oh yes blush is so back in a very big way!’
REVLON ColorBurst Lip Butter, it gives you a nice color plus it moisturises you lips, giving it a long lasting effect. Don’t forget to put sun block before you leave your house! It’s really important in order to avoid fatigues, sunburns! Use the sun lotion as a primer, I do that, it’s better to protect your skin!
For those who use foundation, I advise you to put on waterproof foundation because in the summer the weather tends to make us sweat, making your make up drool all over your face, so get a waterproof one from Benefit, MAC, Urban Decay, Sephora or whatever that you prefere!
Read more about the upcoming trends for this year! There is so much information I could keep on writing forever, but eventually, I don’t want to bore you!
